Pūtahi Manawa travel grants are designed to support Pūtahi Manawa researchers, collaborators and community partners to travel for purposes such as building relationships, gaining new research skills, forging research collaborations, and presenting their research. There is no closing date; applications are welcome at any time.

These scholarships is to provide direct support for Māori doctoral students undertaking research in heart health in Aotearoa New Zealand. The scholarships provide support for a three-year period, with a tax-free stipend $36,000 per annum, $5,000 p/a in research expenses and payment of tuition fees.
