Purpose: Support a summer research student to conduct further research based on their project: Wāhine experience in atrial fibrillation, from cell to society. Awarded to: Johanna Montgomery, University of Auckland. Amount Awarded: $4993.
Purpose: Equity in Heart Health session at Queenstown Research Week. Awarded to: Dr Sarah Appleby, Christchurch Heart Institute, University of Otago and Dr Carol Bussey, University of Auckland. Amount Awarded: $5630.
Purpose: Additional funding for the project: Increasing community research literacy on cardiometabolic genetic research among Pacific peoples. Awarded to: Dr Allamanda Faatoese (Samoa, Tuvalu). Amount Awarded: $7108
